No wonder hplabs!sdcrdcf!sdcsvax!akgua!whuxle!spuxll!abnjh!u1100a!pyuxn!pyuxww!gamma!ulysses!allegra!alice!alb @ Ucb-Vax.arpa 's comments, beside being uninteresting, are so delayed. That's 15 layers of forwarding to the net. This is ridiculous. Can't we plug it up somehow? Oded

From: Rick McGeer (on an h19-u) <mcgeer%ucbkim@Berkeley> Worse, it's bypassing earlier gateways, for what reason I know not -- but I do know that allegra talks to ucbvax [allegra is the third of 15 hops in the path] -- for some reason hplabs passes the stuff to ucbvax, not allegra, which is why it takes forever to get to arpaland. So why doesn't allegra pass to ucbvax? -- Rick.
