I just picked up an older Quantum Q280 surplus... And I need some info on jumper settings. A0, A1 and A2 are obviously SCSI ID, but I'd like to know what the rest are. WS, EP (Enable Parity?),SS, RO, P1 and W1 (enable/disable external LED maybe?) are the ones I see. There's also what looks like a diagnostic port next to the SCSI connector, J5, a 16 pin connector. Anyone have the pinouts/description of this? I've hooked the drive up to my Amiga 3000, and it seems to work fine, although I'm seeing more bus errors than I'd like, and it tends to whine, but for $30, I guess I can't complain too loudly. :-) Read configuration comes back with QUANTUM Q280 76-45005 66. -Bill Seymour nesbbx!billsey@agora.uucp or nesbbx!billsey@agora.rain.com ***** American People/Link Amiga Zone Hardware Specialist NES*BILL ***** Bejed, Inc.
