Received my 1542B last week and was disappointed to find out that running my Colorado Memory Jumbo 10 tape drive off the floppy port (as I previously did off an Ultrastor controller) works poorly. It will not allow the tape drive to run in streaming mode. Does anyone know of a soluction to this other than purchasing the Colorado TC-10 tape adapter? I just picked up a TC-10 and as expected that fixes the problem (another $98.00)! I liked using CPBACKUP but now with the TC-10 it won't recognize the presence of the tape drive. I'll give Central Point a call tomorrow. Can anyone tell me if there is an IBM BBS that has Roy Neese's utilities (ie.SCSICNTL etc...) for downloading? Thanks in advance!

I have recently gotten overwhelmed for requests for this. I guess no one knew about the bus on time being too long for overlapped floppy I/O. If you will drop me a line, I will Email it to you. And that goes for anyone else who is using a floppy tape in conjunction with the AHA-154x adapter.
