Is it possible to add a standard SCSI disk (Maxtor 700MB or HP 680MB) to an IBM R6000 with one internal 300MB drive? Does the disk have to be specially formatted or partitioned? Thanks in advance Paul Derks paul&stack.urc.tue.nl

Yes - the HP 680MB drive certainly can be added without any special formatting or partitioning. Just follow the normal SMIT proceedure. Peter Nicholls HP Disk Integration Engineering. --------------
