I purchased two Used Quantum Q280 SCSI disk drive lately and am having problems getting the drives to working. My controller is seeing the drive at all SCSI addresses. On another Segate Drive I had a similar problem and this turned out to be a setup jumper problem. Is there anyone out there that could sened me a disciption of the Jumpers on the Drive. From the back of the drive the following configuration is present. ----------------------------------------------------------- | |1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 | | SCSI cable connector | | | |8 jumper pairs | ___________________________________________________________ Thereis also an 8 pairs of jumper on the bottom of the electronic board labeled as follows. o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o A0 A1 A2 WS EP SS R0 P1 all are open except p1 which is jumpered.
