[comp.periphs.scsi] SCSI Reset/1542B/MD21

Well, as per my previous post you are all probably aware of my MD21 and 1542B
conflict. Since it seems the root of the problem is the BIOS issuing a RESET
command that the MD21 controllers are mangling, I was wondering how difficult
it would be to disable the RESET capability on the SCSI Bus? Would it be as
simple as grounding out the "-RST" line (pin 45)? What would that do to the
controllers line drivers? Is there a timing issue? If so, would a simple
555 circuit that grounds the line after x msecs suffice?

Help Please.
