Well, as per my previous post you are all probably aware of my MD21 and 1542B conflict. Since it seems the root of the problem is the BIOS issuing a RESET command that the MD21 controllers are mangling, I was wondering how difficult it would be to disable the RESET capability on the SCSI Bus? Would it be as simple as grounding out the "-RST" line (pin 45)? What would that do to the controllers line drivers? Is there a timing issue? If so, would a simple 555 circuit that grounds the line after x msecs suffice? Help Please. Kevin Carpenter kncarp@nicsn1.monsanto.com
