[comp.sys.ibm.pc.programmer] Bit Graphics Routines for MSC

sbarr@libserv1.ic.sunysb.edu (Sanford L Barr) (03/20/90)

Can anyone point me to a good set of bit image editing & display
routines that would be compatable with MSC 5.1?

I'm converting a graphics project from an Atari ST and I have
a great deal of bitmapped images that I'd like to be able to manipulate.

The only way I can see of doing this in MSC right now, is actually
drawing the image onto the display screen (in the appropriate resolution)
and then having to copy it back from the screen in order to use MSC's
built in graphics routines.

Basically, I'm trying to emulate a command that would take
a single plane bitmap and blit it to the display in the color I
specify.

Any simple ways to do this?

Please send replies in mail, thanks!
