Can anyone direct me to commented assembler source code for a mouse-
aware screen blanker? Hercules graciously sent me the source for
save.com, their screen blanker that is specially designed for the
Graphics Card Plus, but it doesn't know about mice, which results in
my screen blanking during applications that use the mouse but not the
keyboard. After looking at the int 33h portions of Ralf's interrupt
list and fiddling a bit, I've succeeded in crashing the system when
the program loads, getting the program to load but lock up during
mouse-aware applications, and getting the program to load with no
results whatsoever. Sigh.
I suspect studying the source for a program that does what I want
might nudge me in the right direction. Pointers to an available
screen saver that is mouse-aware are also welcome, but I'd also like
to figure out what I should be doing to modify the program I already
have.
