Hi folks out there, I hope this is the right board for a question on programming LOTUS 123 R3. (As I am both new to LOTUS and to the net, please accept my appologies if it isn't and give me a hint!) What I am trying to do is to automatically respond to a prompt by using a cell. Example: While a macro is running, LOTUS prompts for, say, the range of a graph to be plotted. The desired range is contained in cell A:A1 as a label (such as 'A:B1..A:B10). LOTUS says something like 'Enter x-axis range:'. At that point I would like to use some function to transfere the label from cell A:A1 to the input field. The @@(...) function described in the manual would fit perfectly for this purpose, but it looks as if the @functions don't work on inputlines but only in cells. Thanks in advance for even the *slightest* hint, even if it says something like "This is the wrong board for that sort of question, stupid". ______________________________________________________________________ Werner Keilholz | Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory | Tel.: 001-415-486-6878 Building 90, Room 3074 | E-Mail: envwpk@epb2.lbl.gov 1 Cyclotron Road | (pn=envwpk, ou=epb2, on=lbl, pd=gov, Berkeley, CA 94720 | from rrze-CYBER: [ad=dbp, c=de] ) USA |
