I am trying to write some code to distinguish what types of CPU's are in a machine. The current way I am identifying the SX cpu from the DX is by testing for the prefetch length. It seems to work well, but can anyone help me out by letting me know how, if at all, does BS#16 (bus select 16) might affect the prefetch if it is asserted? Also, is this a reliable method?
