I wish to use SVGA resolutions of up to 800 X 600 X 256 colours. I realise that most SVGA cards will support these modes but programming them is a difficult. Borland's trubo-c has a neat approach to the problem by using drivers (called BGI drivers) for each type of card (EGA, VGA etc). Is the BGI "standard" supported by card manufacturers and if so who supplies drivers for their cards. I have an Orchid card just now but the importance of the project merits buyng another card if it has BGI support. Any help would be much appreciated. Henry Bruce
