[comp.sys.ibm.pc.programmer] Need help changing volume label

Hello,  

I am in the process of writing a MS-DOS file/disk manager type program and 
one of the features I wish to add is the capability to change/delete volume 
labels.  I have not been able to figure out what all is needed to do 
this.  If there is anyone out there that could post some sample code
to do this in either Pascal or C it would be greatly appreciated.
