[comp.sys.ibm.pc.programmer] config.sys comment lines

pete@wvus.wciu.edu (Pete Gregory) (11/29/90)

Hi, netters! A quick question:

Is there a way to put comment lines in config.sys?

Ignorant minds want to know...

I believe that DOS 4.0 finally permits this...probably in some
kludgy way like a REM.SYS that ignores parameters and does
nothing. :-)

Put a 'rem ' in front of the line you want to comment out. You may
get a warning message when the computer boots up but that line won't
be used.
