Greetings, I have completed the installation of a NetNews server, with PSU's v.2 code. In order to make better use of our links, the admin. would prefer that the feeds to the server be carried out thru the Internet, rather than the loaded BITNET links. Having retrieved Andy Hooper's NNTPRCVR and NNTPXFER packages, I find very little information on how to set up such a server. Can somebody give us a hand, please ? (account characteristics, what to configure, etc.) Also, once this matter is settled, we can happily cooperate by gatewaying the most popular lists hosted by our backbone Listserv: ECONOMY, MEXICO-L and DBASE-L. Thanks, Juan P.S. I have an feed offering from a UNIX host 5 hops away. Juan M.
