Anyone want to hazard a guess as to what is going to happen to US policy with South Africa? Are sanctions going to be dropped? Things do look hopeful, but they aren't all the way there yet.

With the exeption of Latin America, Bush seems to be holding back from making any commitments anywhere. i would expect that you will not hear much more than press releases from the White House or State until things are definately settled there. Saying something is different from doing something. How `bout all the Afrikaaners arrested for plotting against DeKlerk?? Anyone know just how widespread those feelings are in the Afrikaaner population (some 60% of the whites i believe)? James Zuelow FSJFZ@ALASKA
