Actually every US airlines have got some bomb threats, but the most of these ha
ve been "jokes" etc.., and in very few case they have found bombs, but they hav
e had to increase the investment security systems, especially Pan Am. The inves
tments consists of people, equipments, measurements, training, etc... and in my
opinion they have spend extremely much money for people's security. And that's
why their profits have also cut down in last couple of years, one main reason
is of course harder competition. But they have chosen the investments rather th
an being in their past way (few security men, etc.....)-----> which shows that
it's easier make money by increasing the security activies than decreasing the
sales, which ca be caused by plane crashs etc....

In case of Pan Am---> I have many experiences of Pan Am, because I have travell
ed quite a lot overseas in Europe etc.., but when I travelled to Europe from Ch
icago before Christmas, I had to change my plane and take Abina -airlines (Belg
ium), because Pam Am's plane broke down, some motordefaults or something like
that, but any way I had to travell to Brussels and then continue my trip.

-----> I'm not satisfied with Pam Am, has anybody else similar experiences??
But I have to admit thet the security operations in international
Airport's are quite good now a days, in my opinion, but what can happe
n in the back of scene, can be very different. In my opinion people
who wants to install bomb to your airplane, do not carry it with them
but they can for example corrupt the airline's staff etc..
And the blow up your plane....

------> Question ??? How the airlines can ignore this kind of threat ???

-----> Should be regulate the air transport security services???
-----> I think that there already can be some regulations ????
-----> but how we can control airlines that they follow them ???
-----> Is the only way to control them that they are out of business
if they do not guarantee customer's security?????????????
