  Besides the president of Costa Rica and a few assorted Panamanians, we are
the big imperialist power (read bully) to the north.  They probably figure that
with tensions with the USSR lessening, we will return to the days of the Monroe
doctrine.  Looking at Panama, they might not be that far off.

  So do i.  What better place to assasinate someone you don't like than on your
home ground??  i doubt that cartels could do it in Washington, but Cartagena
has already proved less than secure to the Columbian government itself.

  Causing a lot of misery in the streets, and generally destabilizing to all
concerned.  WHo wants to live in a war zone?? You can move to Beirut for that.

UT COLOMBIA IS THRU THE NEWS. REMEMBER THAT THE U.S
IS THE MARKET FOR COLOMBIAN  "GOODS". FROM MY POINT OF VIEW COLOMBIA
HAS DONE MORE ON THE DRUG PROBLEM THAN THE U.S. REMEMBER THAT
KENNEDY WAS KILL IN "YOUR BACK YARD"!!!!!!!
