I would be grateful for any comments relating to the use of the SPANS system for general GIS teaching and practise purposes in a PC lab setting. What is your experience cooperating with Tydac as a university? Thank you, J. Strobl

SPANS has just been installed here. My impression is that it has a much nicer user interface than ARC/INFO but also much less power. For a PC package it is quite overpriced. DFM
