Dear Subscriber of GIS-L; I know that you are very annoyed with the rebroadcast problem, and perhaps atribute it to me. Let me provide some data that there is more than one list at UBVM experiencing this problem. The other list is BIOSPH-L@UBVM. This morning and last night it began receiving rebroadcasts of its traffic from the UCLA server. Please find below a sample. --------------------------- cut here ----------------------------- >From @pucc.PRINCETON.EDU:BIOSPH-L@UBVM.BITNET Tue Feb 20 08:45:44 1990 Return-Path: <@pucc.PRINCETON.EDU:BIOSPH-L@UBVM.BITNET> Received: from pucc.PRINCETON.EDU by mica.inel.gov (4.0/INEL-MH-4.0) id AA11716; Tue, 20 Feb 90 08:45:41 MST Message-Id: <9002201545.AA11716@mica.inel.gov> Received: from PUCC.PRINCETON.EDU by pucc.PRINCETON.EDU (IBM VM SMTP R1.2.2MX) w ith BSMTP id 2515; Tue, 20 Feb 90 10:44:41 EST Received: from PUCC.BITNET by PUCC.PRINCETON.EDU (Mailer R2.06X) with BSMTP id 9495; Tue, 20 Feb 90 10:44:40 EST Date: Tue, 20 Feb 90 09:12:26 CST Reply-To: Art Souther <souther%CS.UTEXAS.EDU%UCLACN1.OAC.UCLA.EDU@pucc.PRINCETON .EDU> Sender: "Biosphere, ecology, Discussion List" <BIOSPH-L%UBVM@pucc.PRINCETON.EDU> Comments: Warning -- original Sender: tag was BIOSPH-L%UBVM@UCLACN1.OAC.UCLA.EDU From: Art Souther <souther%CS.UTEXAS.EDU%UCLACN1.OAC.UCLA.EDU@pucc.PRINCETON.EDU > Subject: Re: List Administrivia (default reply destination) To: Multiple recipients of list BIOSPH-L <BIOSPH-L@UBVM> Status: R ---------------------------------------- I did not make this up, and I have sent mail to the list holders at UBVM.
