This is an official notice that all the Xerox machines in the lab will be disappearing in the very near future, to make room for more workstations. This includes the two 1109 workstations, the 8000 print server, and the laser printer. (The latter I think may be missed by some, who use if for big jobs or draft copies, but such is progress, and without maintenance it is bound to die soon anyway.) If anyone thinks they have a good reason why this should not happen, we had better hear from you (mail carsontr@dgp or dgplab@dgp) by Monday Feb. 26.
