Saw Driving Miss Daisy yesterday. A really beautiful movie, very touching. It would water the eyes of a dead man. I haven't seen any reactions to this movie yet on the list, so here's a question: how many people think Morgan Freeman deserves an Oscar for his performance? I do, and I thought Tom Cruise was a shoo-in for the award. -abh

Morgan Freeman deserves an Oscar for "Driving Miss Daisy"! But what about Dan
Akroyd (I know I misspelled it)? I think he was great too, but I'm pondering
on Best Supporting Actor. There may have been better supportings in other
films.

Speaking of the Oscars, aren't the nominations suppose to be announced
today. If anybody has heard them can you post the nominations. An
actor friend of mine has these nominations for best picture,

or
Field Of Dreams
What's really strange is that he thinks that Meryl Streep will be
nominated Best Actress for She Devil. I'm not in the acting community
and haven't seen the movie but my friend seems to think she'll be
nominated for this. Any opinions?
