Somehow I got the impression that this young man does not like us. I
thought he had a fine sense of gusto about him. Got right worked up there
in some of those later paragraphs, something fierce like. I do wish
they'd teach better punctuation in elementary schools though. I can't
remember when I have seen so many exclamation points. Land's sake,
how does he ever hear himself scream? And that pretty young girl friend:
bless her heart. Somebody'd better give her _Emily Post_ cause sure as
shootin she's gonna need all the help she can get when it comes to
teachin their younguns the social graces.
But you know, I bet he'd be a nice guy to go fishin with so long as you
agreed not to say much and just watch the corks bobbin up and down,
up and down. And I bet he can whistle real purty.
