[bit.listserv.disarm-l] The future of Latin America, Re: DorE-N-E

KWJ199F@SMSVMA.BITNET (K. W. Jeffreys) (02/22/90)

For years 'Yankee Go Home' was a real popular slogan down south. Still
is.

Well, maybe Yankee come home now. (Taking Yankee dollar and Yankee
patience.) Be careful world, you might just get what you wish for.

Like the song says: 'The times, they are a'changin.'

Anyone out there in the Philippines taking notes?

T9AA@SDSUMUS.BITNET (Dave Jacoby) (02/22/90)

I sent a copy of the file about the future of central america, and
I think that you'd be interested in his reply, one that I tend to
agree with.

dave, i don't know where you get this shit !!!!!!!it sure isn't worth
your ti me and trouble sending it to me. of course the rand corp. doesn
ot the us to pull out of latin america militarily,if we did, there would
be no one to protect them.(the need a military dictator that is under
u.s. control and while let in first world corporations) not only is it
cheap labor, there are few organized unions and even fewer environmental
safety regulations.
don't waste our time reading tthis bullshit.
