[bit.listserv.emusic-l] C source code for interrupt driven MIDI on a PC

Does anybody out there have some simple C source code for performing
interrupt driven MIDI communications on a PC?  I've been working on
some for a short while, and since I'm not too terribly comfortable 
with it yet, I'd love to compare notes with someone.
