The reason I said I wanted to leave the list was not because of
somehow "losing the war". If there is a sentiment that I should leave, as
Christoph suggested, then I'm gone. I joined this list first and foremost to
find Metallica's "No Life Till Leather" demo, and I have not yet found it, so
it seems the purpose of my subscription is null and void. Couple that with
people wanting me to leave, and hey I'm outta here. As for losing a battle and
pouting, that is simply ridiculous. I am insulted that I am being called a
racist, and I'm hurt that all of those people who were sticking up for GnR the
other day have all of a sudden disappeared. I am angered by people with
closed minds who refuse to listen to the truth. Again, yes the song "One in
a Million" sounds racist, but when one knows why it was written, when one
knows the anecdotes behind each verse, the song becomes at least
understandable. This is, however, an idea that people don't seem to want to
listen to. This is fine, if people prefer living with the lights out that is
their perogative, I prefer living at full wattage every day and it still
hasn't caused me any problems. I don't particularly care what any of you say
to me, I don't know any of you, and your opinions are much to eccentric to do
any damage to the reputation I have built up for myelf elsewhere.
