NASA Seeks Teacher for Early 1986 Shuttle Mission

I am certain you have all heard this.  The following are the details (if
are have not heard them):

This opportunity is open to all primary and secondary level in any public,
private, or parochial school.  It is open to all teachers in the US and
US territories [more detail I will skip].  The teacher must:

	* Be a US citizen;

	* Be a full time teacher;

	* Have been a full time teacher for the past five years;

	* Provide verification and consent;

	* Meet all medical requirements; [not listed]

	* Not be a spouse of a current or former NASA employee.

There are other strings such as a year of PR work following the flight.
If you are interested, or know of some one who is, here is the address for

120 semi finalists will be selected (2 from each state, plus others).
All will go to the Johnson Space Center for medical examination.
Five finalists will be submitted to the NASA Administrator for selection.

No jokes about this being a political ploy, please!  I am only posting
the information for those wishing a chance.
