Dune is the worst sci-fi movie I've ever seen. The acting is terrible, the dialogue atrocious, some of the special effects not too good, and the whole movie unbearably pompus. It almost, but not quite, makes it as a comedy - there were a lot of embarassed giggles from the audience. I did like the worms, but a friend thought they looked like muppets.

They were not "worms", they were Dune buggies...
