Well I'm glad to hear that there are other oldtimers out there; my first album was Crosby,Stills, Nash and Young: "Deja Vu". I don't ever listen to it anymore 'cuz I can hear (almost) every song on the radio........ Steve Morse is a tremendous guitarist! I was lucky enough to see him (as an added fourth member) with John McLaughlin, Al DiMeloa, and Paco DeLucia in San Francisco, all acoustic guitars. There was an album made of the show(s) called "One Night In San Francisco" or something like that. Anyway, of the four, I'd put DiMeola first, then Steve Morse. Steve played like he had 12 fingers!! McLaughlin's playing was odd, unique, but very jagged. He seemed more occupied as sort of a band-leader. DeLucia was also excellent in a flaminco style. Pretty heady company for Mr. Morse but he was up to the task.......... Hey Herb: "Grandpa p*ssed his pants again, He don't give a damn" What comes next?? I Can't remember!!!

Zevon really gets into some black comedy at times, though... way beyond how far most artists tend to go these days. Check out songs like "Poor Poor Pitiful Me" and "I'll Sleep When I'm Dead", as well as "Excitable Boy"... -- Mark "I was sitting in the Hollywood Hawaiian Hotel; I was listening to the air conditioner hum..."
