On that XTC album song list there was a song called "Are You Receiving Me?"
Golden Earring had a song by the same name off the album "Moontan".
Any connection?

     I doubt that there is a connection... I'm pretty sure that this
song (a great one, by the way) is an Andy Partridge composition.
Perhaps Golden Earring covered it, but I doubt that... it's a
different style altogether; much bouncier and poppier than what I've
heard from them.
