Geez... not much is going on this week, truly. I can hardly believe that I'm still in the top 3, given that I have hardly been posting at all lately! =) Not many musical things have happened, at least around here. Good news : *The Compact XTC* (CD with all of *Waxworks* and SIX other cuts) is finally being re-released domestically sometime in March! =) The bad news : I just sprung for the import ($20) in December. ;) By the way, does anybody know if plans are afoot to re-release other XTC CDs domestically, or are they going to remain high-priced imports all our life??? What else.... well, my house is having a party this weekend, and I'm helping with the music. A friend and I are putting together quite an interesting mix... most of the songs that have become "classics" at our parties ("Blister In The Sun," "Rock Lobster," "Only The Good Die Young," "Burning Down The House," etc...) along with some unusual and unexpected stuff (the likes of the Mekons, XTC, Steeleye Span, the Neville Brothers, Hothouse Flowers, etc). The final mix should be interesting... I'll post it later on, if anyone wants. -- Mark P.S. A friend of mine gave me a complete background on Rush and their history and such over the weekend... I think I'll try to check out some of their work... but I am hereby remaining neutral on the "Neil is a bum" pseudo-debate. =) P.P.S. Jeff 'N. N.', MING-man, did you get my mail? If so, how's the revising of the letter going?
