The Columbia University Center for Computing Activities will be having a power down of its facilities from Saturday, February 11th at 2200 EST (that's 0300 UCT Sun 12 Jan) to approximately 0800 EST 12 Jan (1300 UCT Sun 12 Jan) Affected nodes are: NYSPI NASAGISS CUTHRY CUPHYD CUNIXC CUNIXF CUVMB CUVML CUVMC CUCCVX CUTCV1 CUTCV2 CUMIN and its CCNET link. and the entire .columbia.edu domain CUVMB homes the KERMSRV service machine for Kermit, and anonymous FTP for Kermit. As well, the LISTSERV will be unavailable. As well, *all* internet connectivity to Columbia will be down--anonymous FTP for Kermit from watsun.cc.columbia.edu will be down. Jerry B.
