Is anyone else using a T-switch on the serial port of the OCLC terminal
so that you can either print or download to GTO? We have a couple of
workstations set up this way and we are beginning to suspect this might be
the source of an old problem. We frequently get a "dequeue" error on our
GTO device which causes the GTO device to lock up and we then have to
do a warm boot to restart. Staff have noticed that the error seems to
occur most often when someone is flipping the T-switch back and forth
to print a record and then send it to GTO. I'm wondering if we're getting
spurious data from the T-switch (we're actually using INMAC crossover
switches with one port vacant). I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who
is using a similar hardware configuration.
Thanks.
