[bit.listserv.notis-l] Loading RLIN records

ULDMJL@UBVM.BITNET (Mark Ludwig) (02/08/90)

I am in the process of testing our NOTIS load strategy. We received
customized versions of the LBC30 conversion program from NOTIS for OCLC
& RLIN records.

The OCLC and RLIN conversion programs work well. However, we are also
attempting to overlay GEAC records which contain our correct holdings.

I've gotten the OCLC to overlay by running LB322 with LD030. LB322 builds
a flat standard number index for LD030 which splits the records onto
separate files and changes keys for REPRO with REPLACE.

The problem is that LB322 will not build a flat standard number index for
RLIN records. It shows 0 records in and 0 records out and happily ends with
a 0000 condition code.

Has anyone done this before who can help me out?
Thanks,
