[bit.listserv.notis-l] Item ID format

  I have been trying unsuccessfully to change the item id format in our
test system.  I've made the necessary change to LC101TB1, reassembled,
relinked....

  NOTIS says everything sounds correct but the system still expects
a 14 character id with a checkdigit instead of 12 characters with no
validation.

  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated by myself and the catalogers.
