Bob,
We do load the Baker and Taylor approval tapes. I've modified LBC90 and
LBC10 to put in a location of "acqu" and allow the records to be displayed
properly. No, the records sometimes aren't great, but this does save
having to do provisional records for ordering purposes and takes very
little time, operations-wise. Our acquisitions people are very pleased
with it. I believe that Cataloging usually overlays these records.
