PITTVMS is a BITNET site.  GWUVM is another BITNET site with the VM Network
MAILER and presumably RiceMAIL or its equivalent.  Therefore, the address
shown above should work.

This is the way VAX Cluster node names are formatted and can be interpreted as
NODE::USER. You would send to BEARMAN1@PITTVMS.BITNET.
