over the weekend we tried to upgrade dms/os from 7.6 to 8.0. apparently we have run into a problem unknown to sterling. functions 'retain', 'migrate', etc abend with dms msg adsds050 9999 invalid access type (allocate) passed to this module, abend 100. the actual job abend was s000 u100. we are mvs/xa 3090-150e with acf2. any hits? thanks, bob concannon, database specialist, university of alaska, fairbanks
