The BITNET NODELST and BITNET LINKS files do differ in format/content. 1) In NODELST, CUNYVM is via "ROOT"; in LINKS it is via "(root)". 2) In NODELST, CUNYVM appears in alphabetic sequence; in LINKS it is first. 3) Assume Node N1 connects to N2 (to get to CUNYVM) and A1 is an alias for N1. In NODELST, A1 connects to N2; in LINKS A1 connects to N1. I prefer the LINKS format for aliases, but since aliases will be going away, this is a minor problem. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Barry S.
