I know this is probably calling wrath on my head, but I think this is the point where a ":ROUTEPARM." tag might be appropriate. This tag would contain any special local information needed to generate tables, above and beyond that contained in ":ROUTTAB." :ROUTTAB, as it stands, is verifiable, but when you start introducing these "special cases" it becomes less so. I feel that ADDING tags is less intrusive than continuing to modify tags that (I thought) were specified and locked down. These format changes are making it difficult for anyone other than the people making the descisions on tags to implement software that uses them. Andy
