The definition of the :routtab tag in NODETAGS DESCRIPT contains the following format description (and this has been chosen deliberately and after carefully thinking about the whole subject): value(TABLE-FORMAT) = defined by table generating program Basta !!! Conclusion: If you use GENROUTS then use the table-formats defined by GENROUTS. If you use another program then use the table-formats as defined by that program (if it looks into the :routtab tag at all). Since NETSERV uses GENROUTS, the correct values are those for GENROUTS if you subscribe to Netserv's routing table service. If the GENROUTS author decides to extend the list of valid table-formats then the new/extended formats may be specified in :routtab. Regards, Berthold Pasch P.S.
