About the idea of storm-n,-s,-w,-e how about having the listserv's
not all connected. In other words, have them hubbed arround 4 machines
and have those connected to uiucvmd. Also having it such that the
mail sent to each individual machine only go out the hub.
What this is; uiucvmd will send any mail it recieves to all 4 areas
so any ppl writing will have that info redistributed to the entire country
while if you send a message to the local, it will only be distributed in
the local. The local stuff would be sent directly to the local machines
ie: reports for california will be sent to the redistibution machine
in california, not to uiucvmd.
eks. I know the first few lines don't m~L~L~L~L~L~L~L~L~L. The machines will
still be connected but the will only be connected by area. So all the machines
in the south will be linked to each other but only one of those machines will
be linked to the rest of the country. The machine connected to uiucvmd
will be having a one way door. Mail can come in from uiucvmd but can not go
out.
