Is there any way that a user can enable DDP checksumming on their machine? According to "Inside AppleTalk," DDP checksumming is optional for router implementations, and is used to determine whether the router has corrupted the packet (because of bus errors, memory errors, et., but not by any fault of the network). We're in the process of evaluating serial line AppleTalk services. I was thinking that it would be useful to have this enabled for the same reason that UDP checksumming is (or should be) enabled for SLIP connections. Any ideas?
