As long as my information is correct there is no support for the Microsoft or any other serial mouse in AIX. AIX has support for the PS/2 Mouse-port attached mice (which are all mice IBM sells anyway). I don't know if Microsoft is providing an AIX driver, but I would be very surprised if it is so. Conclusion: Buy either a IBM mose, a Logitech PS/2 mouse and give the Microsoft one to someone who doesn't require AIX... Regards Markus
