We would like to use our fast IBM 3090-attached line printers to serve as a print server for all these workstations. IBM's TCP/IP for MVS does not have an equivalent of LPD, it appears. I have heard of such a thing from Columbia University, but it runs under VM. Is something like this available under MVS, or will we have to roll our own? For all you IBM guys who read this list, is this a known requirement? If not, will you make it one? (We need it fast; can we be ESP?!?)
