I happened to catch the last few minutes of Entertainment Tonight on Tuesday (a slight possibility it was Monday) and heard that Gene Roddenberry has been awarded some kind of humanitarian award from (I believe) the March of Dimes. I know this information is a little flimsy, but maybe you can get more details and confirm things more concretely if you are able to check up with the ET people. David B. There is going to be a dinner, with extravagantly-priced tickets in honor of him. They raffled an invitation off at the Con (but it didn't give the person the right to go - just to keep the invite) - ed.] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Edited by Jim Griffith - the official scapegoat of rec.arts.startrek.info E-mail submissions to trek-info@scam.berkeley.edu or ...!ucbvax!scam!trek-info
