[Note - for some reason, my original posting of this didn't seem to make it out, so I'm reposting this. My apologies if you received two copies - ed.] Effective immediately, I have designated Tim Lynch "official reviewer" of r.a.s.i. As this directly violates one of my submission guidelines, I felt compelled to comment on it. Reviews in general are still not acceptable submissions to the group. However, due to their timeliness, the synopsis portion of Herr Lynch's reviews are definitely of an informative nature. By rejecting them, I am cutting my own thorax. However, it is not fair for me to ask him to submit only half of his articles (the upper half...), so I have decided to accept the reviews as a "necessary evil". I suspect that I am going to incur the wrath of some folks, primarily from either people who are completely offended by Mr. Lynch's reviews or other reviewers who complain "why him instead of me?". I welcome comments, criticisms, etc, but remember that being moderator means never having to say you're sorry. Or was that "being Klingon"? Whichever. Same difference.
