	Gee, this is late, but I thought this SHOULD have gone out on
the info group.....

	FROM the LA TIMES, 2/23/90

	MEASURE OF A MAN, written by Melinda Snodgrass, received a nomination
from the Writers Guild of America for outstanding writing in an episodic
television series in 1989-90. Also nominated were Stephen Bochco,
David E. Kelley, Michele Gallery, William M. Finkelstein, "L.A. Law:, Alan
Brennert, "China Beach: Where the Boys Are," ABC; Karl Schaefer, "TV 101:
Rolling," NBC,  Joan Tewkesbury, "Elysian Fields" (pilot), CBS;
John Wells, "China Beach: XMAS/CHNBCH VN '67," ABC.

	This nomination is on par with the Writers Guild Award won by
Harlan Ellison for his version of CITY ON THE EDGE OF FOREVER, aired for the
original Star Trek series.

	Hmmmm......not too shabby company.....
