[I'm back from my sojourn to the land of Rauchermaenner, Mozartkugeln, and Strauss. Sorry that some of this is no longer timely - ed.] Although the information is somewhat topical, I thought I'd send it anyway, as there may still be some interest even after the Holidays. (E.g., I don't recall having seen Mrs. Shatner's name before anywhere.) The following is excerpted from The Grapevine From Marilyn Beck in Hollywood, as found in the 24 December 1990 edition of the San Jose Mercury News. There is a large section, entitled IN THE SPIRIT, which discusses what various celebrities plan to do over the Christmas holidays. One paragraph talks about William Shatner. William Shatner and wife Marcy Lafferty are spending the Yule in San Francisco, where they're co-starring in a production of ``Love Letters'' from Dec. 26 through New Year's Eve. David B.
