[Note - pulled from r.a.s - ed]
I would have sent this to rec.arts.startrek.info instead, but I couldn't
find an address to which to send it (all rec groups expire in 3 days at
my site, and the only article still in r.a.s.i was Tim Lynch's "Galaxy's
Child" synop, which didn't have any info in it...) So anyway, it's ending
up here.
>From the New Orleans Times-Picayune's TV Focue, March 17-23:
In real life, the Enterprise lieutenant [Worf, played by Michael Dorn] has
a pilot's license and his own plane, and spends much of his off-duty time in
the air.
Born in Luling, Texas, and raised in Pasadena, Calif., Dorn performed in
a rock back during high school and college. His first TV appearance was in
the short-lived series "W.E.B.," from which a producer put him in contact with
an agent. He studied acting for six months and became a regular on "CHiPs."
He also had recurring roles on the soaps "Days Of Our Lives" and "Capitol."
Movies include "Demon Seed," the first "Rocky" and "Jagged Edge." He is
single.
