[Note - My site received the following r.a.s. article too late to alert y'all to the Larry King appearance. My apologies - ed.] katopis@eniac.seas.upenn.edu (Chris J Katopis) writes: |I understand that Leonard Nimoy will be on this thursday's (3/21/91) |LARRY KING LIVE RADIO show. This is a syndicated talk show and has He was also on Regis & Kethy Lee or whatever the name is this morning. They briefly mentioned that Trek VI is being made and that Nicholas Meyer is directing. The major part of the interview (and I imagine so will LKL) was about his upcoming movie on TNT (I forget the name). It is about a Holocaust survivor who takes on an organization in court that is wishing proof of the fact that Jews were gassed in the chambers. This organization had offered a reward, and this man (played by Nimoy) is offended. He asks for an apology, but has to win it in court. It is a true story and the real person involved was also on the show and commended Nimoy for his work. Now that I have gone on for a bit about non-ST stuff, I'll be on my way. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I doubt any god who inflicts pain for his own pleasure. -- McCoy, "The Final Frontier," stardate 8451.1. markl@uokmax.ecn.uoknor.edu University of Oklahoma In Support of the Men and Women of Desert Storm -------------------------------------(=o=)------------------------------------ -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Edited by Jim "The Big Dweeb" Griffith - the official scapegoat for r.a.s.i. This isn't exactly a submission, but..... Nimoy wasn't on Larry King last week due to the flu. Jim Bohannon said they'd try and have him on sometime later, if I remember correctly. James James P. I realize there are some things you say and do you can never take back. But what would you be if you didn't even try. You have to try. So after a lot of thought, I'd like to reconsider.
